Sorry, might have been a dumb question, like I said before I'm new to this graphics thing and self-learning GIMP. So I don't have the whole lingo down.

What takes me the longest is removing the image I want from their backgrounds.

Yes, maybe it's time to change my signature, I have been using my current one for quite some time
Which sig do you advise for me ? I want to use one of Alizée, although you created some very beautiful sigs of Mylène too. And of course I need a matching avatar then

Yeah, that often takes a while. What program do you use again, and how do you cut out your images? I know of a better way than the eraser tool but I doubt that it works outside of Photoshop.

^^^

Holy crap.

Even after reading tutorial after tutorial I never learned how to make sigs like that (other people always did the brushing better than I do, I'm not sure why). You must teach me.

I'm not really sure how to make the one I'm wearing right now. It was a gift for me by a guy in my Socom clan. He has a ginormous ego and thinks that he's the best ever on video-game-forums.com so I told him that unless he made an Alizée signature I would refuse to acknowledge his skill. That, along with a large number of creative insults, convinced him to make one. After he sent it the jpg to me I drew an accent on the 'e' and sharpened Alizée a bit to make her look less blurred.

I might look around for a tutorial to learn how to make signatures in that style because I'd like to learn myself and if I find one I'll share it.
