Im sure they had her pretty bad in the contract, but I don't think she did mind that very much. She were young and on the way to famousy, I don't think I would had been complaining much if my career were doing that well. I find it amazing she did what she did so early, breaking free of MF/LB and taking her own path and all that. There is alot of free will in that girl, and she sure knows what she wants. Would you had done diffrently?

Class act
Quote:
She has shown us way too much class for that. You never hear about any compromising stories of her, never see any compromising photos, you don't see her going to drug rehab, no pictures of her out late partying with friends. She's just a class act. Her song Moi Lolita was what I would describe as risqué, and in no way vulgar. Of course what may seem risqué to some people, may seem vulgar to others and to others just no big deal. But if Anthony's analysis is correct, I'd say J'en ai marre was bordering on vulgarity. I think she didn't know about it in the beginning, found out later, but at that point, it was such a popular hit and been heard by so many people, it really didn't matter any more. |

It's a beautiful song.
It has multiple meanings. There is nothing wrong with those meanings. When the pursuit of puritan answers leads down unwelcome voyeuristic paths, one ceases to hold what is pure and becomes the bearer of the very "corruption" one wishes to ameliorate. Said another way, the search for "did she know" requires a voyeuristic invasion of thought that is worse than the original act, particularly considering there is nothing wrong with the original act.
