I've got a cr@ppy internet as well. It's keeps on changing my IP address so I could only go "passive" which limits my access. Just be patient. I still was able to increased my Alizee collections by more than 10 times!!!
I actually would have to stop downloading for a week or two as I'm about to reach my monthly limit of 200 GB!
BTW, thanks again to everyone for sharing!!!

I can help if you are simply having problems with getting into the hub. But if its just your speed then I can't ha.

I just downloaded 4GB of stuff a couple days ago and forgot what it was of...but yeah my Al!zée collection has increased lately to 120GB...thankyou University Uber-Fast Internet and external 500GB hardrive haha.

That's the one of the only 2 things I miss about the dorms. Fast internet, and not having to clean.

I got confused and tried to join the hub in the forum chat room lol! ... I guess I got too excited and didn't read on to the aother vital steps... like downloading the DC++ program first!.... I am there now...

So my roommates and I got fed up with the crappy-ass internet and the fact that we only get TBS, CSPAN, and some weird liberal propaganda channel so we signed up for comcast.

It'll be an extra $30 each a month, but friggen worth it. (Also, it's October, which means AMC's frightfest!

Once we get that decent internet connection, here I come hub!

I'm finally back online. Fiber connection FTW. Although, I have to say, people have WAY too much Non-Alizee crap shared on this hub. If I wanted Ren & Stimpy DVDs, I'd go to a damn Ren & Stimpy hub... WTF.

Anyway, any hints? I've set the options to not download duplicate files, so that should help.

That's unfair criticism. If you don't like other stuff then don't check those files. Why bother about that?

This hub promotes sharing of music videos especially from female singers.

Alizée is still main singer on that hub because that's where all this started. But now it's not limited to Alizée only.
