Nope. I doubt that I'll have a daughter. I would like to adopt one in future, but I don't think it would be a good idea for a single parent. I won't give her a name that would constantly remind me of Alizee. It would be bit weird also because everyone in my family or friends know about Alizee. It will look like I have taken obsession to a new level.

I would ... it's close enough to what I would name my daughter anyway... Because I'm Aaron.. I would like to have the name of at least one person in my family begin with an "A" ... and I like Alizée for a name... does that make me a stalker? ...
Also.... my mom named me Aaron because she is a huge Elvis Presley fan and Aaron is his middle name. Edit: or Wendy to hide it even more...

No. Not Alizée. But a lot of spanish girls are called Alicia, it is very common here and I like it. So maybe Alicia.

Then probably trend is changing. Alicia is not even in top 10 most common baby names in Spain in 2011.

Well fortunatley I'm at a point where I don't have to worry about that, but back in the mid 90s it looked like that was a possibility and I gave a lot of thought towards names for a potential son or daughter. I was thinking of a combination of a first and middle names with one being from my side of the family and the other coming from my girl freinds side.
If it was a boy, I was thinking John Christopher. John after my father, Christopher after her brother and I thought that was a great name that any boy wouldn't mind having. For a girl, my mother's name was Claire. Now I loved my mom, but I didn't think it was a beautiful name so I wouldn't give it to my child, but she had a sister named Mary, I thought that with a slight change to Marie in combo with my girlfreind's mother's name Shannon would make a great name, Shannon Marie. So I put a lot of thought in whether the child would like the name or not and I think a girl in this country would love that name because it's I believe unique in this country and it's a beautiful sounding name, plus I like what it stands for, a trade wind that blows through parts of North Africa and the Caribbean |

I wouldn't, mostly because people wouldn't pronounce it right. I've gone my entire life having 95% of people call me Suzanne and my name is Suzannah.
