How do your friends feel?

Being a little older means anyone i show Alizée to among my friends just results in them calling me nuts, or words to that effect. No matter though, that's why we have forums like this, where we can come and not be treated like we have 2 heads when we say we are nuts about a French singer called Alizée.

I showed one friend the La Isla Bonita video, claiming her to be the most perfect girl in the world.

He said... It's nice when girls look after themselves (a reference to how much girls (and admittedly us guys too) drink in england).

but then he left it at that... and didn't seem to take any more interest.

Fair enough. But he didn't even seem to want to sit through the whole video.

I guess it's true: You either fall madly in love with her, can't sleep for thinking about her (and end up joining this forum )

or you just don't get it and probably forget about her within 5 minutes.

By the way... did anyone ever NOT want their friends to find out about Alizee? Sort of like: 'No, she's my secret! '

Infact I am so enlightened when I tell anyone I like her! that I don't even think about anything else, I love Alizee too much for being ashamed, I just get driven by my feelings. No one made fun of me by telling me I suck, maybe some of them thought so, but I don't care. Almost anyone I know likes Alizee too. Here in eastern europe she is well known and respected."Moi Lolita" is a true classic because of the immersive drive and because of Alizee herself.

My family thinks I'm strange cuz I don't listen to "normal" music. They think I'm weird cuz I like to listen to music I can't understand. I really don't care what they think cuz I know that I'm not alone in listening to the beautiful music Alizée makes cuz I know that there are a lot of people here that are supportive in listening to Alizée.

Ya this has happend to me alot....

Im a DJ, and i usually only play Euro Tech, House, trance, and Pop......

During a set i had 3 really hot girls hit me up in my booth and they were freaking out!!! They couldnt belive i knew about Alizee! So i played Fifty Sixty for them!

I have also been working on a 128 bps remix of Fifty Sixty, ill hit you all up when im done.


Anwways on to the guy thing, My buddy took my car to get a bite to eat and came back and said WTF IS THAT CD IN YOUR CAR DUDE!! IT'S Chick Music! And i cant understand it at all!


Ya trying to explain that Alizee is the bomb diggity to your BF of 20 years is easy and hard....

I just told him he wasnt cultured enough to care or know.

I recall reading someone's post during the time that a 20-second portion of Fifty Sixty had been leaked, clocking it at 137bps. What do you find it to be now? A slower mix wouldn't make much sense for your situation, unless 128bps is a standard with which you can use other sound tracks.

my best friend though supports it and whenever i do a favor for him, he pays me back by watching an alizee video here. He's only liked her english videos so far, and sometimes when we're playing warcraft he'll randomly say "bubbles and water". it makes me laugh
