or like Sherlock Holmes... I classic I adore... I remember an article before the Deathly Hallows 7 came out... JKR said she would possibly kill Harry... and just in case it would happen the author of the article compared it with that kind of mourning when Arthur Conan Doyle killed Holmes...

to be honest I never have heard of Narnia before the films came out... I don't know how popular it was in Germany...

Hmm, okey. I read the Narnia books before I knew there would be movies. I even watched the TV serial The Chronicles of Narnia (Created by BBC and aired between 1988 and 1990). My mother recorded them so we had them on tape and I know I watched them sometime around 1999/2000. I just found the whole thing on YouTube and I remember the intro! Think I'm going to watch this some day.

But yeah... I thought C. S. Lewis and Narnia (Books) was really famous.

Narnia: 100 million copies in 47 languages.
Harry Potter: 400 million copies in 67 languages.

Yes, Harry Potter is much more known so it's not strange if you had never heard of Narnia.

Watched it today. Was pretty epic and had a nice way of cutting it off for the second movie. Kinda like a regular tv show, but more awesome of course.

That's great guys. I'm sure you'll have enjoyed a lot But my request to all the posters is that you shouldn't describe the whole story, atleast the climax, here as because it'll destroy the suspense for those who haven't watched the movie yet(one of them is me ).
Anyway, some of the HP7 part-1 World Premiere Photos, held in London :
