If she is going to join Dancing with the stars it's always possible that there is some contractual obligation not to release during the time the show is airing.

It is a little bit strange to finish the album before summer and then put a stop on everything until christmas... We will see.
I wish Alizée would tweet some pictures of musicians with electric guitars ans synths... Strings are ok, but I hope it is not the main sound on her album...

I think one of Alizee's strongpoints is when she sings ballads. I think the more ballads she does, the better the chance the new album will have success up to a point that is. Songs like ACC and Gour are the type that people enjoy much more. They have a much better chance of becoming #1 than a ballad has but very good ones are much harder to come by in my opinion. So if her album has about 12 songs on it, I'd like to see 4 as ballads and I'd bet 3 of them would be good songs. Of the other songs, I'd say she'd be doing good if 2 of them were very good.
I was kind of worried that some of these people at Sony might be beguiled by Alizee's beauty into putting out an album that isn't that good, but looking at a picture she posted from the sound studio, these guys look very stoic, very business like, so now I'm fairly certain they wont put out this album unless they are very confident it will sell. It's even possible that they might put the kibosh on the whole thing if they don't like the way things are going. Psych wasn't that bad an album, but it wasn't good enough for the French people to buy it in any meaningful numbers and Sony will not put out this album unless it's noticably better than Psych. I think it's also possible that as they work with her, they will learn what songs are better for her and if they think the songs they came up with for her so far, aren't filling the bill, they may delay this album in order to come up with some better ones. It's possible that already may have happened and is the cause of it being delayed until Christmas. I think if they do go through with this album and I feel cofident that they will, it will be a good one. They wont settle for less.

I'm curious as to whether or not there will be any songs in English on this album. I think the major goal of this album will be to re-establish her as a top singer in France and so they will mainly focus on songs in French but hopefully they will do what they did with her international releases and have some of her songs translated/rewritten into English.

I loved "Limelight" so I do hope she throws in at least ONE English song in there. It would be perfectly fine if all the songs were in French, as long as they have high replay value. I can listen to "J'en Ai Marre" over and over again, but "Decollage?" Maybe once a week before I get too sick of it.

I think she said during an interview at La Acadamia that her next album will be all French. When asked if there's going to be Spanish songs again on her next album just like in UEDS, she said that even her Mexican fans prefer for her to sing in French.

I'm still cramming in all her songs... The MF/LB stuff helped hook me, and usually I'd never have given the other albums a chance. But I'm getting ok with them. I figure I don't really care what comes out next, as long as there are at least a few hits and Alizée gets whatever success she's hoping for.
