I’m sure they are not notified. They will eventually pick up on it if they are paying attention to what the people following them are up to. I believe this contest is purely for the purpose of increasing traffic to the Mallplace website. If the artists get a little more exposure because of it then that’s OK for them too.

I doubt any of these artists are actively involved or campaigning for votes to win this contest because I don’t think the award itself is important to them. It’s not like a real award like a Grammy. However, I’m sure many of them (Alizée included) really appreciate the support of their fans.

If nothing else, it’s another opportunity to demonstrate how much we are dedicated to Alizée, and I am willing to bet she is aware of this and she appreciates it very much. In the meantime, hopefully more people will get to know who Alizée is. And like someone said earlier, it’s just plain fun...

So if you are enjoying it, by all means, keep voting. There are very few opportunities for us to give anything back to Alizée. If this is all we can give her at the moment, then I say let's try to win this thing.
