That did surprise me he english accent is verry clear I was alittle confused is everyone French english/ mixed idk

Non, pas americains...
No, those people are NOT American. They're all French. Which is interesting, cause maybe they ARE all trying to get into US and English-speaking markets... I mean, why wouldn't they be, but for years we'd all just assumed those French artists didn't care about us.
I recently asked my French neighbors (as their boy was playing "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" on piano) if the French have a lot of their own Christmas songs. No! Then I asked if they have their own French lyrics (peut-être "Père Noël Viendra À La Ville"...) Again, no! Interesting. So maybe it's not so surprising or strange that this song is sung in English, too...
