It's like looking into a mirror man. They have been my two favourites for awhile. Actually C'est Trop Tard has been sice I first discovered her.

I don't really like that remix, Zack. I wish people would just leave songs alone, and not try to adapt them so as to have a slightly different beat.

If you are going to do a cover of a song, at least keep it's integrity intact.

Edit: Actually wasn't the cover I was thinking of, can't remeber who did it, but I thought it was Deejay Devon, I was wrong though, that one actually wasn't bad.

Nestonia's recover of L'Alizé is indeed breathtakingly beautiful.

However, I think that the most magical part of the song's intro is the piano. It's not just a series of chords that I've never heard before, it's a completely different sound that is exclusive to L'Alizé. It almost does feel like a gust of wind... Something inexplicable for sure, the allure of that song is.

It just makes me feel sad.
For some reason, the beginning of that version reminds me of a sped-up version of the beginning of Pachelbel's Canon.

Well, a huge chunk of music is based on Canon. It's really weird, but it just seems to be the perfect base for a song a lot of the time.

L'Alize is definitely in my top 3. Probably number 2. For me the song that I could listen to back to back for hours is Gourmandises. The refrain is almost like a trance techno song, except beatiful.

I also loved the intro to it on the En Concert DVD. Amazing song.

I couldn't agree more with everything you just said. Absolute truth.

i'm in the L'Alizé phase right now. what's funny is this used to be one of my least favorite songs from lili but now i too find myself a bit obsessed with this song. i think the earlier dislike came from how i hate the weird outfits she wore during the performances and the bad music video.

but this song has been creepin up the ranks recently and now i listen to it a lot. and sweet brise slow remix is one of my favorite remixes, and it's such a great chill out version of L'Alizé.

this is song is full of beautiful phrases, but this one is the best:

...car moi j'ai trouvé mon amour
C'est un souffle, c'est doux un vent d'amour :
C'est léger, c'est L'Alizé...

...because I have found my love
It’s a breeze, its gentle, a wind of love:
It’s soft, it’s L'Alizé...

I like L'Alize a lot. The best verion to watch is live at the Dome. I can watch that one over and over.

yea, that one is the best L'Alizé performance. she interacts with the crowd more than other performances. i still hate that outfit though!

hehe, now i understand why brad has so many L'Alizé videos here.

i'd still like to see more Gourmandises performances here though, that one has only 1 video here.
