Thumbs up

hi
nearly 10 bucks to watch a crappy movie like alien vs predator?
they should pay ppl to convince them to go and watch it
I watched 300, well, a good pop corn movie, it's more kinda cartoon than historic stuff though, patriotism is so caricatural that nobody would think it's a propaganda movie... well, I hope so
cheers

yeah, its criminal to charge that much for a movie, or any movie, crappy or not. come to think of it, movie theaters are very expensive. its like 3.50 for a large drink, 4.50 for a large popcorn, maybe 3 bucks for a hotdog, maybe 3 bucks for some nachos. not only is the movie ridiculously expensive, but its expensive just to get some movie munchies. thats how movie theaters get their money, really. rarely do i ever get theater food.

as for movie costs, thats why the movie industry is a muli-billion dollar industry.

Well, last night I prepared a meal with lots of cheese, flipped on my old projector, and watched The Lion King for the first time in many, many years. You know what? It was awesome!

nurvonic, those costs are why I make my own popcorn and bring my own drinks, and take them in a backpack. You are not legally bound to show the contents of your bag to the people who take your tickets, so if they ask, you can say, "No, thank you." They're allowed to prevent you from entry because of that, but they'd have to give you a refund, so they basically let you in always.

"Such a shame to believe in escape
A life on every face
And that's a change, till I'm finally left with an eight
Tell me to react, I just stare
Maybe I don't know if I should change
A feeling that we share...
It's a shame
(Such a shame)
Number me with rage, it's a shame
(Such a shame)
Number me in haste, it's a shame
This eagerness to change
It's a shame..."

nah, i usually dont eat anything when i watch movies anyway. i used to all the time. after the movie, we go to the hooters just in front of the theater and have some beer and chicken wings, naked.

naked wings, not naked me. that would be a site to behold

Just saw I Am Legend....lets just say that i'm glad i didn't pay for it!! I used my free movies passes i got for Xmas. Didn't like it. The movie had alot of potential, but in the end...just wasn't up to par of what i thought it would be. I'm a fan of Will Smith's stuff, had some decent action...but it left me wanting more. Didn't really develop the story line.... Felt like i was watching a zombie movie. Heck!....even 28 Days Later was better than I Am Legend.

If i were to rate this move..i'd give it 2 stars out of 5....

The last movie I saw was "I Am Legend." Everyone made a fuss about it being awesome. I didn't really like it. It really made no sense to me, maybe it is me. Like Will Smith and his dog would capture one of these things and then experiment on it. I would be scared out of my mind to do something like that. The dog was cool though. He beat up one of those mutated dogs.

Same as JCC I give it a 2 out of 5 stars.

I'm surprised that no one else has seen Atonement...
