I don't really know how it works either. It's a lot like that Buzzland thing we were voting on. The judges steer the show where the producers say (I don't really believe that ) and then the audience pays to cast votes that are never disclosed. But she is really dancing and having fun, and over 6 million people are seeing her each week. Not too bad. As long as she doesn't seriously get hurt....

I think to some extent, you are spot-on. Much as we'd like to think otherwise, it's all about money. If the producers think Alizée has the biggest draw in terms of viewers and potential profit- she'll do well and maybe even win, ergo; the drama. I hate to appear cynical, and I do hope fan votes really count, and that we really are seeing th real Alizée. 😊

I agree to so e extent. At least in American dancing with the stars they try to make it so that professional dancers and performers are not allowed to participate because they have an unfair edge. This includes some singers that are also dancers such as Jennifer Lopez.

I remember there was a big stink about the figure skater, kristi yamaguchi being involved because figure skating gave her an unfair edge on dancing... she then went on to win the whole thing in the season she performed.

Personally, I don't care if they can dance or not but it helps to see people that can perform somewhat good. it is not entertaining to see people that can't dance trying to do skits like the first couple the other day; doing the texting skit, etc.

It appears the French version of dancing with the stars is a bit more lenient towards allowing people with professional talents participate after all, they did let Shy'm participate and she won the whole thing before.

I expect to see Alizée win it all this season. And hopefully she can come back as a judge.

I think the forum automatically does that to long links, which is nice, but is there a way to turn that off? Would that be the parse links in text option?

Though I've never before seen it interfere with a link, not on the chatbox anyway ._.
