very nice movie. i loved it! but of course, its tarintino, so its quirky and such.

BUT, i dunno if its cuz of Alizee and my now open hearted nature towards the French.. but that one french girl was stunning! omg. beautiful. her nose sorta reminded me of Alizee. (Only cuz Alizee said that her nose was her favorite body part!)

Yeah I watched it to today, well yesterday right after wok lol Brad Pits acent in that movie was epic, so dam funny. I loved hte way is started to talk in Italian hahaha. Best part was in that bar hahaha with KING KONG hahahahahaha, I laughes so dam much watching that movie. Agreed dont let squimy kids watch it hahah the theater I went and the scene when the Bastards were collecting their scaps lol couple kids in front of us, dont even look like they were 17+ man did their reactions was crazy funny. Lol I love the endig of it hahahhaa. he deserved it.

Alrighty, so I watched Ip Man yesterday.

This is a semi-biography about Yip Man, a Wing Chun master of great reputition which has even trained the great Bruce Lee back in the days.

First half of the movie was "ok", seemed like an ordinary kung-fu flick without any real substance. But then a darker side became visible, and this is were it becomes evident, the fights are really well made. It's not flickering images with thousands of cuts in a big mess as it use to be, everything is visible in long fine cuts, all the punches and all the stunts, and it's great stuff.

Now if there was a movie that indulged mr Barrett to fanaticize the art of Wing Chun, this is most certainly the one

See this movie if you like action, a must see if you like Kung-fu!

I recently saw District 9... excellent film that explores two fascinating concepts in the same film: provides a more "down to Earth" first contact scenario than is typically portrayed in science fiction films; and explores a whole range of social realities in our world today by using the aliens as proxy (something that Star Trek has always done, but with a distinctly different flavor in District 9).

I certainly recommend it.
