"Gozu" is Japanese for 'cows head'. The film has a strong David Lynch feel, if you liked "Mulholland Drive" or "Lost Highway", check it out.

It was great it alot of senses. Great photo, great philosophy, alittle bit of feelgood aswell.

Really liked the quote in the end. "Happiness is only possible when shared". This is so very true. Have you never experienced something, a movie or maybe a great view or a good music track and then got struck by the wish to share it with someone. Sure you enjoy it but you really want someone to show it to, someone you know, someone to share the experience with.

This is a top movie in my book, see it... or else

Just got done watching the Brazilian film "City Of God". It deals with drug wars in the slums of Rio de Janeiro and a young, aspiring photographer caught in the middle of it all. Based on a true story as well. "Slumdog Millionaire", which came out several years later, seems to borrow from this flick. Slumdog rocks, but this one really hits where it hurts. Very real, raw and powerful.

In the last two days I have now watched Detroit rock city, Little Nicky, X-begin wolverien something, Lesbian vampire killers, Mallrats and Sleepy Hollow. They were more or less good everyone of them but Mallrats and Detroit rock city were the best.

I had heard about this film whenever Slumdog Millionaire was released and was curious about it. Glad to see that the film is widely appreciated.

Just watched District 9. It was a good film but not that special..

Oh, and inglorious basterds, excellent movie. Almost all lead actors are german btw, except for Brad Pitt and that beautiful french girl.

I actually didn't find Mélanie Laurent that stunning.
She was beautiful yes, but, there was no hook I could grab on to.
