I believe it made the point clear.


But seriously speaking, translators are just help. They cannot do the work for you but they may help you.

When I purchases over the net, I try to translate to French my messages but I always add also the original English text in case I have done some major mistake. That way the buyer/seller can check the English text too if it might help to understand (assuming of course that she/he knows English... which of course isn't the case always).

Hehe, while I haven't tried it, I think "Toc de Mac" comes out as "Imatation of Pimp." Surprisingly, that's not actually too far from an American expression that means the same thing... some folks simply use the word "pimp" to mean "cool." Calling a person "pimp" is saying that they're doing something like a pimp would, ie, they're doing it really cool. I've never been a fan of that usage, but it is undeniably a major usage in the USA.

I'm surprised you know the slang meaning of "mac" (abbreviation of "maquereau" actually)!
I think you mean "imitation"? Or rather "fake" for "toc". That's slang too! Congrats!
