Dunno so many options in the military to look at, its so hard to choose. I always thought the Coast Guard would be cool but there nearest recruitment office is like a 3-4 hour drive
In the Air Force, we're called Security Forces now or Security Police (SPs) when doing law enforcement (LE). It's what I do now but I'm sick of it. It's the closest thing air force has to an infantry and at the end of the day, you get to sleep in a warm bed "MOST" of the time. I've had my days of sleeping in the dirt or holes in the ground. I liked the ground pounding but I'm since older and it's out of my system. I'm not a big fan of LE and want to cross train out now. Although I've done quite a few unique things in my job. I've been a marine training camp, was on EST (SWAT), to name a few. But most people don't try to excel in this career field. Just be forwarned, the politics in this career field are bad. People get in trouble over petty things all the time.

"Great Mistakes" Milwaukee is fun - don't know if the strip right outside the base is still "rough" - used to be a biker bar there last time i saw the place (1981............).

Enjoy - I was in the Seabees from '85 to '87 (NMCB-74 - "74 does more!") ((Our motto - and the addendum the fleet sailors added? 74 does more - because they have to do it twice!)) I was stationed in Gulfport (before the Rapid Urban Renewl ((Katrina)).......... I've heard its changed.

In any event, I wish you luck and "fair winds, following seas.."

I call everyone in the military sir, I have to since I'm just a cadet now in ROTC. Even a Private I have to call sir/mam and I dont mind it because they deserve my respect and they have earned it. After college when I become and officer in the US Air Force I wont have to though.

As of now I am in the Marines. I take Marines ROTC, and I'm going to switch to air force next year.
Here's prof that im under Marine teachings right now lol.
Marines say army stands for Aint Real Marines Yet
and the come back for the Army is Marines stand for Muscles Are Required Intelligence Not Essential. I love the Marine and Army rivalry lol
oh and if you want me to re site my general orders than you can go **** yourself. Just kidding, my Gunnery Sergeant would kill me if I said that to him during drill.
