You saw Clapton LIVE???? God, that is my dream. I am living in Sacremento, CA for two months and Clapton played here like three months ago so I was slightly too late, and he has never come to Ireland . If I ever got a chance to see him live, I'd give an arm and a leg. he's the reason I play guitar.

And Alizée does love guitars. I read somewhere she's learning to play. Maybe her next concerts will have her playing a rocking solo at the end of C'est Trop tard !

My aunt and uncle and my two cousins just went and saw him... and the first thing they said is that he looks like my dad. Although I cant see the similarity.

Oh, he was here? Oh well, never really saw the attraction. Before my time, I guess.
Speaking of before my time, I hear America is going to be playing near me at Hagan park in Rancho Cordova tomorrow, 4 July (oops, today). I do, however, really like them. I inherited some records and a player from my parents and before it stopped working used to play a few of their albums all the time. I think I learned to sing along with like 20 or 30 of their songs. I still have some songs as I bought a best of CD a while back. It's apparently a free concert of some sort; so, I'm definitely going to check that out.

Here's a great guitar player. John Petrucci from Dream Theater...

One of my favorite songs from Nelly Furtado:

And a few songs from Ben Folds Five (don't pay attention to the videos, they're a bit... odd ):

This is not exactly the music I'd listen to all day long, but if you come to France this summer, you got to be prepared to hear that :

This song has really grown on me. Unfortunately I couldn't find a postable version of the 2006 performance at La Fête, which is really my favorite so I'll post these two: a live one and the music video. What I like about it: 1) Pascal, 2) the tune is kinda catchy (to me at least), 3) I really love how much fun they seem to be having when performing it, 4) not least of all, Melissa can be damn cute when she wants to be

Melissa Mars and Pascal Obispo - 1980
