Little late on my response, but it was pretty good. Not a must-see though.

Watched a couple of pretty good French movies over the last week.
La Pucelle parts 1+2. Made for TV (i think) mini-series about Joan of Arc. Very good, really cheap on DVD and recommended. A little bit slow going but otherwise fine. |

8/10. Predictable, but plenty entertaining.

Good movie and overall I liked it.
Recently I haven't watched some French movies, but I don't remember their names |

Not really a movie, but I've been watching it obsessively recently.
It's what made me finally fall for Kpop... and discover Lee Hyori! But the entire cast is hilarious and all add a significant part to the whole.

Great French Action Flicks! (if y'like that sorta thing.)
I was mentioning to Jalen and Wasabi about this one:
...so thought i'd make it public. Wasabi*. Watched it almost three times. It's great, hilarious, over-the-top action, stars Jean Reno, and it's written and produced by Luc Besson. He's the French action genius who also brought you La Femme Nikita*, Leon: The Professional*, The Transporter movies, and District B-13*. (And Arthur And The Invisibles, too, but that's all I'm saying about that one.) Jalen says he doesn't like action movies, but Wasabi would probably like Wasabi. (* - Titles with asterisks are all currently on my "Staff Picks" shelf down at the vidstore.) And as for District B-13 (original French title: Banlieu 13) - if you've never heard of it, seek it out, everyone! Besides, the sequel D13-U: District 13: Ultimatum arrives on DVD and BluRay April 27th! Soyez là! Je reviendrai. |

It has.. well, had a cast of famous Korean singers and actors, the most biggest name probably being Kang Daesung from the band Big Bang, and Lee Hyori being.. well, Lee hyori! They also have guest celebrities every week, such as Yoon from SNSD, Nicole from Kara, and even David Henning, who played the gun wielding mutant in X-men Origins: Wolverine. But they basically go to the countryside of Korea, and stay for the weekend at an elder citizens house. The elder citizens themselves go on a vacation paid for by the show. Now, while they're in the countryside, they have some chores to do like go fishing, cultivate the land, and so on, which they all do with comedic gags. They also play games using whatever is around them. So it's just a funny show that shows celebrities out of their element and just joking around. Edit: Quote:

If his friend looks like Yoo Jae Suk.
I might laugh out loud just looking at him! xD
