I was just talking about the way I felt when I said “not that amazing”. But that was not made clear. Edit: She might still have what it takes technically and physically, but I doubt that it will ever be the same as it was. I think Alizée is now somewhere else in her life and the attitude and body language she had at what I consider to be her “dancing apogee” (2003-2004) are gone. I don’t mean that she is too old, I mean that she is not “that” Alizée anymore. She might still dance very beautifully, but it will bring different types of feelings to me, I’m sure. I am not sure I wish she would ever top the 2003-2004 era in personality, talent and beauty for that would just kill me on the spot. Is it a crime if Alizée causes death of a fan by suffocating sweet ecstasy? Didn’t think so. |

Quite difficult to explain to the family of the deceased, though.

Wife: come on kids, eat. Daddy would have wanted us to have his goldfish fried alive and “dancing” in the frying pan for dinner. |

I was discussing Alizée’s JEAM sailor outfit performance with some people today and the subject of the boots/socks came up (of course, it is the women who kept discussing this aspect of it. People had all sorts of version of what it is she is actually wearing on her feet and legs. Was it a very long boot (seems improbable to me)? Was it a boot below the knee with a sock above it? Was it the same for all the JEAM sailor outfit renditions? Any videos or pictures clearly show the outfit? I find it hard to discern on the videos that I have seen.
Looks like boots + socks here (although this is a montage): Looks like a one piece thing here, but maybe it is just bad lighting: Thanks! |

Thanks Naft!!
Never seen this picture (but I am a novice at this) and I must says I almost fell down my chair. Wow! There I was trying to pick up details difficult to see and you come up with a picture where you can see the socks, the chipped teeth and the little rounded skin imperfection on the jawbone! I still think the second image I posted looks like one piece though. Must be the lighting then... Or could she have worn different outfits for different renditions? |
