Quite a bit in this picture, and a very interesting glimpse of her new image, and some hints about the theme and feeling of Psychédélices.

Note the rainbow tubes of light, emerging from below the waist, interlacing with her arms, and rising to form a kind of aura/halo. Note how these form a pattern with Tinkerbell's wings, the straps of the overalls, and the rows of buttons.

Note the dreamy, serene, deep-thought, faraway expression.

Note the buttons which give a banal or mundane layer contrasting with the mystical/magical/fantastic impression of the facial expression and the tubes of light, with Tinkerbell bringing the two elements together in one image.

(No, she's not wearing her wedding ring. No, probably that means nothing.)

The hair is shorter than in the radio interview, but there's been time to cut it since then.

This helps explain why Her Grace has been so busy lately, hasn't been to fan sites much, and although she's logged onto her MySpace every day, hasn't posted any more bulletins. Clearly, she has been (in part) working on photoshoots. Probably other things, too. Patience is called for. All that work will produce goodies.

Rocket, dear: Every beautiful woman is her own worst critic. Even with your hair a fright, no makeup, etc. you would still be to die for; you can't help it. That's your appearance; personality is another story and since I'm the same way (a caffeine addict and hopeless before my first coffee), I'll take your word for it.

I blew the picture up on my computer as far as I could, and frankly I saw a big JPEG artifact right where the ring might be, so I don't think we can saw with any certainty, at least not without some image enhancing software (and I'd be inclined to say it's there, if I had to guess). And, as a married person who is temporarily without his ring (it actually cracked and I am waiting for the jeweler to repair it), I can say that I feel utterly naked and rather uncomfortable without it, and I really can't see any reason (assuming it's not off for some personal reason, which I hope is not the case) why she would want to take it off for the shoot, unless she or the publicity team felt it would somehow boost her sex appeal to leave it off.

Why didnt she get a tattoo tinkerbell with black hair? why blonde? the blonde tinkerbell symbolizes a usa tinkerbell. She should have gotten a corsican tinkerbell with black hair. Also the tinkerbell she got on her back is the original tinkerbell modeled by that woman who posed for Marc Davis when he was working for Disney

Umm....

Uhh...

Maybe 'cos she likes the original Disney Tinkerbell?

This is really a trivial question, but -- I did the same thing and saw only a naked finger. But even if she was wearing it and it was surgically removed from the photo, it's still gone.

As to why the ring is missing in the picture, again I don't think it means anything, except that a judgment was probably made that it didn't go well with the rest of the picture. Nothing to do with her being "sexier" without it IMO, just that the picture seems to be evoking the 1960s in some subtle and interesting ways, and a wedding ring doesn't go well. Even if they're having some problems, things haven't reached the point of divorce surely, or she wouldn't have referred to him as her husband in the radio interview.

Much more interesting to me is the composition of the picture and what it says about her new image. I mean, yeah, she's gorgeous -- isn't she always? But this is a whole new look, very different in implications from the old days.

She likes the Disney Tinkerbell, not some modified version. Tinkerbell is her mascot.

Yes, I agree, a trivial question. Here is what I got when I did it (hopefully I didn't screw up the imageshack settings):

I see a big rectangular artifact right where a ring ought to be, so you can't really tell....

EDIT: I think imageshack compressed it or something, so you can't see the artifact well. Oops.

BTW anyone recognize any of the buttons?
Does anyone else think of the movie "Office Space"? Does she have enough "flair"?
