damn i really love these performances. easily the best since her return and well exceeding my expectations. i thought it might be another sub-par live performance, but she really nailed it this time.

oh and apparently psychedelices wasn't playback as i wondered before because she apparently sang the wrong opening lyrics.

FYI, a number of songs are slightly extended on the Acoustic website compared to what was on TV, so don't throw those versions away!

Olympio's capture is way better than mine, so unless someone's dying for an NTSC cap, I won't bother uploading.

But here's something I haven't seen anywhere else yet: a little "coming-up" promo TV5 ran before the show, with one extra shot of Lili. I think I missed the first fraction of a second when hitting record, so I'll try to look for it again when they repeat the program today.



Also this is interesting! Apparently the flange effect is only on one channel of the Psychedelices performance, so alizeebest on AFC was able to isolate a version without it.

So they showed the guy pressing a button to activate pre-programmed synthetic sounds instead of using a regular keyboard. Other than that he kept pulling on level adjustment levers as though that was doing something. Yeah, and again I ask, what's with the record scratching thing? If this guy isn't really doing anything then it comes off fine for a music video, such as Mademoiselle Juliette or maybe even for certain performances, but in a live band performance it comes off kind of cracker jack toy silly. Maybe he was doing more than pushing that button every once in a while, but if any of it, like the record scratch, is just for looks, on a "live" performance please ditch it. Hey where are those chicks she to use for those Gourmandises performances. That drummer was kinda cute. If they're going to keep cutting away from Alizée to show the band anyway ...

he kinda looks like pau gasol. i guess they need someone that looks cool who presses the play button on the sound effects. maybe he also is in charge of playing the non-live instrument tracks too. dunno if his scratching does anything, but it could just be non noticeable to the ear. i still would prefer to have some backup singers over him though.
