I freaking LOVE THIS! My favorite song is "Past the Point of No Return".
I'm not a big musical person, but I loved this! Seriously, even if you aren't a musical type of person, check it out, it's worth it.

Besides, it has King Leonidas singing while wearing a mask, trying to seduce Night Owl's girlfriend.

Recently accidentaly saw Kubrick's '62 Lolita. I didn't liked Sue in main role, she absolutely didn't look as 12 years old girl, rather 16. But the dialogues were good and just for the first scene it was worth watching the film. I believe that it's really hard make a good Lolita adaptation, as the novel is a real masterpiece of the literature, but overall: good try by Kubrick.

Saw Iron Man 2. Did not like it much. The first 30 minutes and the last 30 minutes were pretty good but the middle hour was a snoozefest. Very boring with little action. Tony Stark wouldn't shut his trap, the Mickey Rourke character was not developed with no backstory, and Scarlett Johansson did little else but look hot. The ending showdown where Iron Man and War Machine teamed up against Whiplash was anti-climatic to say the least.

Saw the new Nightmare on Elm Street movie.

Piece of crap. I absolutely hated it. It offered nothing new, kind of similar to Freddy vs. Jason, except Freddy looked dumb as hell. Was not scary at all, failed miserably at building suspense. All it really did was annoy the hell out of me with the cheap(and unbelievable dull) jump scares.

Seriously, the movie was jump scare followed by 5 minutes of dialog repeated for over an hour and half.

I'd give it a 3/10

I think the 97' Lolita got it down

I don't imagine Jeremy Irons or Dominic Swain when I read the book at least once every three weeks, but I think they did excellent jobs.

though I just want to slap Melanie Griffith

I don't like that they ignored several parts such as Monique/Valeria, narrating from prison, and Humbert's three year search for Lolita... but in a way I'm glad they ignored them completely rather than do a bad job.

---------
and I tried to watch Punch-Drunk Love today, needless to say how that went, I just woke up
