"Moi Lolita" was hummed by everyone in Poland 21 years ago. We were all delighted with the young French singer, and Alizee had a career all over Europe. How does she look today and how is she doing?

Moi je m'appelle Lo-lita - in 2000, radio stations broadcast the hit Alizee almost in a loop and we all suddenly started singing in French. Today Alizee herself will soon be 37 years old (time flies), she is happily married and has two children. How does she look now?

She met her current husband in "Dancing with the Stars"

Alizee actively maintains an Instagram account. She recently celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary with her second husband, Gregoire Lyonnet. The couple met in the French edition of "Dancing with the Stars" in 2013 - Alizee acted as a "star" and Gregoire was her partner. Together they beat the other pairs in the race for the French crystal ball. The dance partnership later turned into a relationship - Alizee and Gregoire got married three years after winning the show.

The singer, however, had one more marriage behind her. As a very young, 18-year-old woman (when we met her, singing sensually on the Lo-li-ta stage, she was only 15!), she married singer Jeremy Chatelain. The wedding was fabulous, it took place in Vegas, and two years later Alizee's first daughter, Annily, appeared in the world. Then Alizee disappeared from the media and devoted herself to her family.

After nine years, her first marriage ended in divorce. Fresh Alizee, still in "Dancing with the Stars", said that the separation of her daughter's father was a "life failure" for her. However, the couple did not spread out in an atmosphere of scandal - they were able to put their personal problems aside for the sake of the child - they recently celebrated Annily's 15th birthday together.

Alizee and her second husband, Gregoire, welcomed a child into the world in 2019. The singer willingly shows photos of teenage Annily and tiny Maggy on Instagram. As you can see, little has changed since 2000.

Vlak na de eeuwwisseling brak ze door op slechts 16-jarige leeftijd: Alizée. De Franse zangeres werd in de jaren die volgde steeds beroemder als ultieme babe. Zo werd ze door onze Franse collega’s bij FHM in 2010 zelfs op de tweede plek van allermooiste vrouwen geplaatst. Hoe is het nu met de inmiddels 37-jarige Alizée?

Afgelopen weekend werd Alizée Jacotey, zoals ze met de achternaam heet, 37 jaar. In die korte periode op deze aardkloot heeft ze heel wat teweeg gebracht. Haar filmpje waarop ze wulps dansend Moi... Lolita ten gehore brengt is bijvoorbeeld een klassieker die op YouTube miljoenen keren bekeken is. De Franse zangeres is het inmiddels wat rustiger aan gaan doen. Op jonge leeftijd in 2005 had ze al haar eerste kind, maar in 2019 heeft ze daar nog een tweede spruit aan toegevoegd. Haar werk als zangeres is dus wat minder belangrijk geworden. In 2014 bracht ze voor het laatst een album uit en dit was een flop. Zo zie je maar weer dat talent geen blijvende garantie is voor muzikaal succes. That was a nice little article. I think it was more about Danse avec Les Stars and it's upcoming season but I think it kind of tells you something in that it featured Alizée's picture as opposed to the other personalities it talked about.
