Well, I found this article that says Obama will be in Mexico City the 16th and 17th, but no mention of the 18th.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this possibility.....and it is a possibility, because this event may be the most high profile social event in the entire country of Mexico on the night of April 18, 2009.

Mexico's Secretary of Tourism, Rodolfo Elizondo Torres should be there at the Coronation to represent Mexican Pres. Calderón.

It's pretty likely that Alizée & Co. will spend some time in Mexico City (aka the D.F.), so with regards to "bumping" into Obama, the real question becomes: Where is the Angel today(16th) and mañana?

It would be a PR coup for Obama to get a photo op with the Angel!

For those that know about these kinds of things: wouldn't she have to be doing a soundcheck and practice before the show on Saturday? Any chance you think going to the venu on Friday would result in maybe seeing her do the soundcheck?? I am here now, ready to give reports!
