I stumbled upon this video today and couldn't help thinking that the sentiments expressed by France Gall here might have been the sorts of things that were going through Alizee's mind back in 2003/2004?

Wow! Her younger self even looks slightly like Alizee.

I imagine she did. I remember in an interview, Alizee said that the double meanings didn't matter to her. Yet later on, it is speculated that she didn't really know what some of the songs really meant and that it was Jeremy who told her. It just kind of boggles my mind that both women could go so long without anyone telling them.

Im sure she got most of the meanings ... she is not some innocent little naive virgin princess lol ... she had a kid at 20! Yes there were probably a few things that went over her head but I dont think she was in the dark for the time prior to meeting Jeremy.

She knew some but, surprisingly, there were many she did not know (including a few of the rougher ones).
