i don't want to sound condescending or anything
but it seems like a stage some girl pop acts go through they first start with a very sexy image at a young age then they react against it as they get older thinking that they were mishandled or that they're too mature for that sexy image and then as they get older they say to themselves hey i'm really attractive and i'm not going to be this attractive forever so might as well show off what i have again so i think Alizee should just skip the second stage again i obviously don't know what's her thought process this is just a guess-timate

I would say what she has worn and the styles she had have been absolutely beautiful. Especially in J'en Ai Marre.
However in her most recent album these really loose dresses or "pregnancy dresses" make her look much older than she is and don't accentuate what she has. She should go back to what she usually wears and stay away from the curly hair style. It really doesn't suit her IMO. |

Well, I'll totally disagree about the curly hair. [Edit: just looked at the home page and that is not the best example of the curly hair I like.] I like it better than the straight version like what's on her album cover. If she'd like to keep it long and straight like she had it at Snowhall, I think I'd like to try that out for a while too.
And really, while I'm the one who started this thread and said I'd like to see her wearing something snug, if no one else had brought it up, I probably wouldn't even be thinking about it that much, though I'm sure I'd at least subconsciously notice. But, since it has been brought up, again, it's not like even if I sent a message to Alizée she'd change for me, but yeah, I think it's time to move on from this style of dress as far as my preference goes. It is cute and that has a certain charm and goes well with it showing off her legs and wearing those shoes (in this particular case), but still. Even pants in some cases could work nicely sometimes - tight jeans (think FestivalBar

it's not the dress that makes a woman beautiful, it's the woman that make a dress beautiful.
just a rule of thumb.

Yeah, that's why she still looks great in this outfit mentioned at the top of this thread.

I can't agree because they aren't "pregnancy dresses" and I really wish you guys would quit calling them that because it's wrong. Don't worry, you're not the first. Once again, the style is called "babydoll" and is made to resemble a style of negligee and not maternity wear. Whether or not that look is being achieved is one thing, but considering this style is based off bedroom wear, I honestly don't know what the big fuss is about her wearing clothes like this. Maybe some things should just be left to the imagination and you have plenty of old material for inspiration.
