Ahhhh I really don't know which way to go with this one. It's true that Eurovison and its acts are a complete joke throughout most of Europe and it's only put on because it's a tradition of sorts. Alizée does not want to be associated with such cheapery.
BUT what would we all say if we could say for certain that a Eurovision appearance would rescue her career and bring back the sort of fans she had in the old days??? |

When you know what Eurovision represents here, you can take for certain that it would put an final end to her career...

Edit: But argh it's EUROVISION. Everyone here in the UK sees it as a mockery of a competition. My gut feeling is that she really doesn't want to be associated with this as it will infinitely cheapen her image. But then again, it's watched by millions every year. Difficult. It think the estimated views in Europe for the 2010 final was over 70,000,000.

At this point in her career, she really has very little to lose and a lot to gain. It's kinda like cost-to benefit ratio. Whatever backlash she may get for participating is nothing compared to the tens of millions of audience she's going to get. And if she can turn even a small potion of that audience into her fans, it's well worth it.
