Alizee seemed a little nervous during JAM. I think she really didn't want to do it but, as a compromise did it with that male singer singing most of it and her without wearing the sailor suit and doing that JAM dance we all fell in love with. Les Collines was much better. This is probably the reason why she only provided a link to LE and not JAM.

Overall, it was a great performance from a great artist! I can't wait to see her perform again.

In the end, let's not trash or criticize La Acadamia, but rather let's thank them for giving us Alizee.

I really do hope they got a significant bump in the ratings so they'll invite her again in the near future. Hopefully, shortly before or after the release of her new album.

PS: BTW, does anyone know when she's leaving? And her flight information as well so we can "guide" her again.

Dull, static, emotionless performance...
Yep, great to see her actually do something but gotta do better than this.

Sorry, but 10 minutes or so on some non-event Mexican 'talent' show is no career reviver.
And yes, it does hurt to say so........

ouch! I don't think she intended for this performance to be a career reviver...this seems like it was done to satisfy her main fanbase's stomachs until she can give them a huge taste of a new amazing album in the Spring when she might travel there again to tour

I enjoyed both performances. I'm glad she went. However, she was clearly uncomfortable some of the time. My wife thought she might be feeling a little "off" during the performances as she did seem restrained part of the time. It also seemed that the MC left her hanging after LC.

The fans were GREAT! They were so happy to see her there.

EDIT:
After watching the tape if the interview after JEAM I think that she had a translator talking to her through an earplug and I think she was having difficulty hearing her, which is why she would look distracted occasionally. We still think she was feeling "off." In fact, the reach for the water bottle right after sitting down could support this.

Did anyone notice Javi's (the guy that sang Jeam with her) creeperish body language after JEAM was done in this video? He hugged her twice, kept raising his eyebrows at people to his right as if he were saying "look i am with her and she is so hot!", and he escorted her to her seat...the only reason I'm pointing it out is that it seemed like he made her uncomfortable, same goes with the Host that HELD HER HAND until she raised it to fix her hair. It was a good 5 sec hold...

WHAT THE CRAP!!! HE HELD HER HAND FOR OVER 15 SECONDS!!!! She looked uber uncomfortable

but hey she played it off well by "having to" fix her hair...

I liked it. I like the whole mod look she's been going for with performances, fits with an album inspired by Edie Sedgwick. She didn't look uncomfortable to me, just a little distracted and I can imagine it's because both of them were having some mic issues. I can't imagine her trying to dance in those shoes and it would have been weird since she wasn't singing alone.

her vocals were good, u must be talking about the dude that rudely interrupted her throughout the song! lol!

her next album comes out spring 2012, that's all that was said and that wasn't even mentioned while she was on la academia show... unless i missed it.
