If an AAmer were invited to go to the next album's release party with Alizee, I expect it would be like our forum's version of the first moon landing.

I figure that Sony are the ones really pushing the newsletter this time around.

I'm betting they are using it as a marketing tool as well as trying to find out how large Alizée's market extends inside as well as outside France. This gives them some idea of how many CD's to start out with on the first pressing and where they need to spend money promoting her for the biggest bang for the Euro. More of a direct approach instead of spending money in geographical areas that will show little return for their effort.

I agree. They've done this stuff before and I suspect they are following a script, and having Alizée follow it as well. Let's hope they have great success.
