I'm not sure if you'll get many unbias response to this question.

For me, upon initially hearing the entire album some songs were like "what the heck was that" but the more I listened the more I enjoyed each song for what they were. By no means is this new album like her previous ones. This one has more Alizée in it, her spreading her wings and doing what she likes. We've not been let down that's for sure! I don't know if that helps to answer your question. Also, read her updated Biography for insight on the new songs and the contributers.


BTW, go check out her YouTube account and listen to the recording of L'effet. Her natural voice, w/o the music, is so magical. I can picture hearing Lili sing a lullaby to Anne-Lee like that.

Hmm, I'd say not anymore. There were about 3 songs that I didn't really appreciate initially, but now I like them all.
