Lili is indeed too short for the role and her eyes are also the wrong color. She's too dark generally. I think Liv Tyler was well cast.

Some bits about Arwen that didn't come out in the movie are that she's part human, and Aragorn is her distant cousin, as he's descended from Elrond's brother. Also, she's approximately 4,000 years old. Well preserved, ne c'est pas?
