It's just that... Bill Nighy could have at least made Jake a different character...

I didn't know Bill Nighy was in it until Jake came on and I was legit OH SNAP IT'S DAVY JONES

and then he started to use more and more Davy Jones' sentence structure and inflections and such

Have you seen "Friendship!"? Adorable german film! About two boys who are going to the USA right after the Fall of the Berlin Wall to see the Golden Gate Bridge... it's a really great, funny but also emotional + touching film. A great example for good german cinema.

I'm totally in love with "Moulin Rouge!" at the moment... I haven't seen it for ages and re-watched it a week ago... I nearly forgot about the brilliancy of this film and now I'm totally addicted... romance, music, great actors, adorable plot, great costumes, great coulisse... perfect!! I have seen it several times the last days... also in english... and its original language makes it even more magnificent (even if I don't understand everything)... I have to admit I adore the british pronouncement of "dance"... sounds so classy..

bought two new DVDs today and at last none of them was a waste of money...

1. The Ghost Writer

7,5/10

it is a pretty good film but the trouble is I'm NOT really a thriller person... so it could not fascinate me that much. but it's ok.

2. Big Fish

9/10

I really had trouble to find my way into the story... I liked it but it could not really fascinate me in its perhaps first 90 minutes, it was a bit too strange sometimes... but then suddenly in the last 30 minutes it became so touching and I totally fall in love with it and cried my eyes out...

Saw Thor with my boyfriend last night, it moved a little slowly but it had fantastic visuals. Kinda like Avatar, there's little to be found in plot or dialogue but the stunts and looks make it more than worth it.

Last night I bought "Miss Potter" for 2,99 € (never bought a brand new DVD for such a low price!). Really nice film. Touching, sad, also romantic, a totally charming Ewan McGregor and with beautiful landscapes... But I have to admit I never ever heard of Beatrix Potter before..

8/10

Wow. I'm talking about an author who wrote tales for children and you have nothing better to do than to connect these stories with things of sexual nature...

I simply said that I never heard of Beatrix Potter before. Neither my parents or perhaps also my grand-parents. I don't know how popular it is in Germany. Not everyone knows every book. When I was a child I read Grimm's fairy tales and these are also classics...

I remember that I had a pop-up storybook that told the story of Peter Rabbit going into some mean farmers garden. Every time I read it I would feel worried for Peter because I thought the farmer or his dogs would kill him but of course he managed to escape.
