NAMM show 2009

Did anyone else go to it other than me and Barrett?
The NAMM show is the largest convention of musical instruments in the world.
Sponsors from many different guitar, drum, and such companies gather once a year to promote prototypes, existing models, and such.

It's pretty cool.
In the ESP stall, there were many ESP users like Alexi Laiho, Jeff Hanneman, and such.
The PRS stand was much better though, Mikael Åkerfeldt and Fredrik Åkesson was there to represent their guitars of choice.
One that beats it all was the Ibanez stand, with people like Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, Marty Friedman, Steve Vai, Herman Li, and many others of the Ibanez descendants.
I got to look at the new Ibanez PGM for Gilbert, it's amazing, and Barrett even got a chance to touch it.

Another thing was the Tama drums stand. I got to meet Mike Portnoy, yaaaay!
One thing about the NAMM show is that there is noise coming from everywhere constantly, but I could recognize all of the sound. Most of them were song demonstrations. xD
