caught him offguard.
She was a game
he never learned to play.
"It's within us," she said.
He never understood but he said "Ok."
"Early morning tomorrow
the one who sits in that flower
loves the other one more..."
He came earlier, so he thought.
He waited for the flower to open
so that he can sit before she would...

so high his wings broke!
He never expected it,
but she was within the flower.
She stayed there all night
so that early in the morning
as soon as she sees him,
she can fly to him...
and tell him how much she loved him.
He tried to convince himself
that she could still fly to him
but the crimson flower,
still dewy
had drowned her,
in its sweet nectar.
