Yelle isn't coming anywhere near my neck of the woods, which isn't surprising. Not many big acts visit Louisiana anymore. Anyhow I have Yelle's "Pop Up" album and like it quite a bit. Has an 80's dance vibe to it and some pretty explicit lyrics at times (didn't know til I read translations)

Congrats! I've been listening to her songs on MySpace and they are really growing on my. Another one to put on my buy list.

Maybe she'll do an encore tour and swing back through the US since I would like to see her in concert too.

I was in photography class today, and to my great surprise, someone started blasting one of her songs (the "talk to the hand" one)! It would have been a great moment to introduce my compatriots to Lili...had nearly all of them not immediately protested and requested that "French sh*t" to be turned off

Yeah... But that's why the tour's such a great promotion opportunity. The people that actually go to the show obviously aren't francophobes.
