A great French song which I can't find on any video sharing sites is Il était mon avenir by Teri Moïse

Unlike some I could mention, I'm not in regular communication with the old lady, but next time I see her I'll ask.

I'm sorry for the minor thread-jacking that I'm about to commit, but here is a performance by Axelle Red, who I've mentioned as one of my favourite French singers. She's singing an English song here, "Blame it on the Boogie," by, that's right, Jackson 5. I think that this performance is just wonderful.
http://www.delaatsteshow.be/uservide..._Red_BREED.wmv Edit: I removed the embedded video. It plays automatically, at least on Macs, which is horribly obtrusive. I apologize.

Espire, that is a very good performance. It's worth a thread-jacking...

Is it playing automatically? I apologize if so, and help with preventing that would be welcome

hey i really like axelle red too. i have her french soul compilation and jardin secret albums and i enjoy listening to them. they're really easy listening and her voice is unique and beautiful. was she ever big in france? i only know her because alizee sang her song but it seems like she doesn't come out on tv as much as other musicians.

hi
I generally use their mother tongue when I talk with foreigners, if I know the language of course, I worked with cuban musicians and the only language they knew was spanish I don't speak this language, then I tried in french or english with no results, so I decided to use corsican with them, and believe me or not but they understoofd everything I said cheers

Ok, I'm going off topic for a second, but I will make it up by posting some samples of a few new artist I've found later. Can someone please tell me the french way to best say: Thank you, you honor me with your comment !!
The reason is I've had some artist or their myspace updater send comments to me, and I would like to accurately answer back. Therefore I don't want to use a translator for this... Merci Beaucoup !!
