Post Psychédélices concert "bye bye" song

just for interest ... don't know if someone post this somewhere...
At the end of this video from Alizeé's concert you can hear that song (3:25)

Nothing against that song in general, but two things that irritate me:
1) I don't think the subject matter is what should be associated with Alizée (particularly drug use).
2) The exit music after an Alizée concert should be... ALIZÉE! If they wanted to keep people pumped up, they should have started with Fifty Sixty; if they wanted to have more calming music, they should have started with Par Les Paupières. Also situations like those are where remixes can be well-used.

Unless Alizée particularly wanted to use that music, I think it was poor choice by the concert managers.

i've heard it!! well, don't actually know the song, but i remember hearing it.. and i associate with the movie "pineapple express".. i think it played for a commerical for the movie?

and i also agree with Hollister.. why the heck would you play another inferiors artist's song at ALIZEE'S concert??

Either 50/60 or Decollage would've been much better!

1.) I don't like that song, it just sounds irritating and annoying.
2.) I respect the song's creativity of sound effects but it does not stop me from disliking it.
3.) If Alizée picked it, well we all know her tastes anyway so it doesn't matter.
4.) I have no problem with lyrical content of any musical piece because usually i'm too busy listening to melodies, if it doesn't "Sound" good, it isn't good, regardless of lyric.

Yea, that would be a great song to play, but there's one catch.

How could they play it way back in 2003?

If nothing else, a magical substitute is always in place as an entrance or an exit song.
Because entering a modern Alizée concert is, face it, like going into a whimsical twist of your own personal world.

Uh... because this was a Mexico concert which were all in 2008. The "Lilly Town" signage clearly indicates the performance as Psychédélices-era, if nothing else.

Well, if you really want to get technical.
It all depends if Alizée has an opener, i'm used to artists and bands that tour with an opening band to bring the mood and of course to advertise themselves because they are probably lesser of status than the headliner.
Then again, I don't think you can count her 2008 concerts as a "tour" in anyway.

Of course during the intermission whilst they get things set up for the headliner after the opener people won't be too fond of a quiet room, so the sound operator indefinitely plays music that he/she picks or is chosen by the headliner/opener/whatever to play during intermissions.
Also, during concerts, we may even see covers from both bands, because covers are very often. Sound of Silence anyone?
So yeah, from a concert veteran, there's the technical.
