man, great thread so far. I am always amazed at the different singers I can find while talking about Alizee. Laura Pausini, Rebecca Brown, etc.

but in the end, only Alizee has it all and yet, she is only known to a few. we should be very unique fans.

Come to think of it: "I still haven't seen Debbie's nude photos!
Naaah! She was my favorite growing up and I respect her almost the same way I respect Alizee. I think I'll pass.

I personaly think that Alizée isn't comparable to any American artist at the moment, BUT I like one quite talented(and quite non-famous) American singer, who is unique in my view; her band is called A Fine Frenzy, her name is Alison Sudol and she sounds and looks so atemporal...I love her songs! Here is one of her last songs...enjoy!...

Mzracing76, I never said I was comparing Alison Sudol to Alizée(as you can read clearly in my previous post), I only said that I like this singer because she has uniqueness, just like Alizée. Her songs sometimes are part of tv shows, that's how I found her. Like this song for example...

However, I am strangely finding myself liking Alison's music I must admit.

Since discovering Alizee in Nov2010, I have found other great singers to listen to, and some thanks to this forum.
1-Priscilla Prissou
2-Laura Pausini
3-Rhema Marvanne (9yr old gospel singer)
4-Maddi Jane (14 yr old cover singer)
5-Alison Sudal
6-Rebecca Black

And to think, before Alizee, I found myself listening to the likes of Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Phil Vassar, Kenny Chesney, Oakridge Boys, Jessica Andrews, Leann Ryhmes, Martina McBride, Selena Gomez.

But none of those compare to Alizee Jacotey !!!!!!

mzracing76, yes I find Alison Sudol's music quite addictive, it grows on you with time..and her album "One cell in the sea" is excellent. This is one of my favorite songs:

oh and if you have the opportunity to see her accoustic DVD, please do it!..I love this song...

and if you are entered in more French stuff, have a look here...
...i actually like it because of the video lol...cheers!
