Alizée in Danse avec les stars 4 (2013)

I have only seen the videos posted here because I was out of town last weekend and far away from TV, cell towers or any other connection to civilization. So I have a question: have they plugged her album during the broadcast at all? There are probably a lot of people in France who haven't heard it or don't even know it exists. I know it's not easy breathing new life into an album that has already run its course, but there's always a chance that Alizée's charm will encourage some of the people watching DALS to buy it. I, for one, can't see how anyone can watch her perform and not be affected by her in a positive way.

Yeah, I never bought her delivery of that "it's impossible" line... It looked like she was taking read of someone off camera, like "say its impossible" and they snipped it in.

I never liked any of these "reality" things because they just plain look like shit with the cameraman running around, the editing is so choppy in a lame attempt piece together a story that never really happened in front of the camera. The camera gets someone's nose scrunch before a sneeze and they edit it in as some sort of look of disgust "reacting" to an event that happened three weeks ago but is made to look like they are in the same room. It's not just the manipulation but its just how forced it looks.

That's why i did not and will not watch any of that bs, but the dance it self. Even Alizee will not force me to watch that crap, no matter how sweet she is

I totally agree with your point of view. I cannot stand that kind of emotional "striptease" in pretty much every single casting-show (whether with or without celebreties). I hate it, cause it is mostly unrealistic. Altough just with this sh*t of behind the scenes you can bring the audience to watch your show

IMO its too bad Alizee (is forced to) participate in this kind of entertainment.
I really like and enjoy this dancing thing and and I am so happy for Alizee and her success in the first show. But does she privatly agree with this? I bet she would tell the camera guy to shut down his camera.

Well I'm not a fan of reality shows either but you can't forget that that is what we're dealing with here guys. They probably have a camera at all their practices all week long, waiting for moments like this that they can use, so maybe that part was scripted, maybe it wasn't and just came along. No need to get worked up about it anyway, even if she is "acting." With the amount of people that saw her last week and will continue seeing her, a little acting is a small price to pay. Just my 2 cents.
