Washington D.C. in late July

was going to go to L.A. but cheapest airplane ticket i could find was 400 USD

and of course Ann Arbor every couple of weeks

Switzerland!!!!! or maybe california countryside, the night time there is a real fantasy, especially when you book one of those luxury hotels with the one floor connected balconies. Everyone just goes outside, grabs a table, and listens to the music, watches the stars, talk to friends and just gouge down on the food like the gluttons we are. Its nice to go there with a few friends. But you know what? Switzerland is nicer. lol

You got that right, my cousin's lived there for 9 years and he absolutely dreads it, sure it's a thrill the first couple minutes, but i've experienced CA myself, and it's not all that hot.

Switzerland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, etc. > California

For at least a few days at a time, from time to time, when the east coast weather turns sweltering, I'll be going to Hell.

I expect a trip or two to Crazy will be in order, with side stops in Nuts, Bonkers and the occasional visit to Funkytown.

Lillytown will have to wait, however ... with gas at well over $4 a gallon, it's just too long a trip to make right now.
