George was also really, really good in Jersey Girl, which I believe was his last film. It's not my favorite of Kevin Smith's movies, but Carlin was excellent in it.
He was also a real class act with fans, judging from everything I've read today. Very gracious and humble.

Couldn't believe it when I read it, hard to believe someone who had so much energy and personality is gone, especially when you can just go pop in a DVD and there they are, so alive. R.I.P. George you were one of my favorite comedians.

LOL He was alive with energy and personality because he was a heavy abuser of cocaine. Not sure if he kicked the habit in the later years or not?
I enjoyed seeing him in movies but no movie he ever did compares to his standup. Great comic..... I would say Rest in Peace, but he would probably prefer I said "Eat Shit!"

My favorite line in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure is when Rufus steps into the phone booth, puts on his shades and says, 'Gentlemen, we're history!'
