If you click on the link there is a list of 20 videos and you can vote for which one you like. UEDS is in second and is behind 150 votes to Mylene Farmer

I can definitely see Mylene Farmer having a large gay audience, but then I really haven't heard that much of her music. That might be one of the reasons for Alizee's popularity with the gay community in France and other countries.

Rev has already said this in another thread, but.. why is it okay to vote on a Mexican poll and Radio Atlantis, but not this one? I'm confuzzled.

Anyways yea this doesn't really surprise me, I remember watching an interview with Alizee from the psych era saying how she supports the many of her gay fans

Radio Atlantis was not targeted solely to French people unless I'm mistaken. I don't know about the Mexican poll. This poll is supposed to be about the appeal of various songs in the gay community. I'm certainly not homophobic or anything, and am about as liberal on the subject as you'll find anywhere, but I'm not gay myself. So I don't feel my vote would be appropriate. Much as I'd like to support Alizée, this just doesn't feel right to me.

And yeah, it's not clear how much of her support in the gay community is transfer from Mylène, but then again certain types of female performers who exhibit a certain androgynous strength seem to be very popular with gay people especially gay men. Mylène is a good example; the classic example of course was Judy Garland. I could see where Alizée would fit into that category.
