Nabokov, Vladimir
The author of the original Lolita novel (which was to my surprise, written IN English by a Russian author, not translated to English) |

Rue Fesch, aka Rue du Cardinal Fesch; the street where Alizee grew up.
Also the site of her autograph session in 2013 on her birthday. Also depicted in the video I just recently posted at 00:29 Alizees cat in window.jpg Last edited by Scruffydog777; 12-31-2017 at 04:37 PM.. |

Such a sweet video! Her smile has an amazing charming effect. Just an idea, don't you think posting the web document link once in every thread page is better than after every post? I have it bookmarked, and it's only us three replying anyway, lol. I'll admit it's very handy to the next poster though. |

How about just appending the updated list in text format into each post? It will take up screen space but be easier. At least for lazy people like me.
Something like this thread (go to the last page of it): http://alizeeamerica.com/forums/showthread.php?t=512 Last edited by Ray4AJ; 12-31-2017 at 06:25 PM.. |

I think it's much more practical to use my document. I'll post its link once in my post on every page, or you guys can post it in every first post on every following page in this thread. That's because although we are just 3 or 4 of us posters, in the future someone new may join in. Yeah, very much charming. And I'm lucky that I remembered that old video in which she was wishing happy New Year. You can take it as a wish for the upcoming 2018. Last edited by comjoz; 12-31-2017 at 07:01 PM.. |

Triage Lavoire building where ACC was filmed.
For those newer members who may not know, this building is a few miles over the Belgium border. It was a coal washing plant. Coal has to be washed in some cases after it's mined. This building was built under the Marshal plan after WW2. It shut down several years later after a couple of local coal mines shut down. Just about everything in it was stripped. There was a plan to rehab it and they did redo the outside, but luckily did not do much work to change this shrine. I even visited this building a few years ago and was able to find a way in (nudge, nudge, say no more). I don't know if anything has been done to it since. The video was directed by Pierre Stine, who also suggested the filming location As you probably noticed, most of the windows had been broken out when they filmed the video. A storm came up late in the filming and you can see the clouds in some of the shots along with Alizée's hair blowing around. Last edited by Scruffydog777; 01-03-2018 at 02:47 PM.. |

Interesting story, Scruffy. You should make a blog about your Alizee adventures.
