I uploaded this video today to FB and it's doing very well so far. For those newer members who may not have seen it. This is when Alizée made her trip to Japan. She was asked to be the cover girl or spokesperson or whatever they call it for the cracker (bisuit/cookie?) named Elise. She replaced the beautiful Catherine Deneuve!

This is a picture that was posted on FB. I'm guessing it might have been done in France. It doesn't look like it was photoshopped. I tried to do it in this country when Coke had a program that if you collected so many bottle tops, you could have a name placed on a bottle of coke, but alas, here, the name Alizée wasn't available. I now drink Pepsi!

So how much Coke do you have to drink to get one of those bottles?

Too much I'm sure, but if the program is still ongoing, I have several bottle caps I could send you the codes from. Then all you'd have to do is drink in 12 oz bottles the equivalent of a 55 gal drum of Cocal Cola, then you could get a bottle of Coke with your name on it to take to the emergency room! Seriously I could send you or someone those codes. I think I have about 40 or more of them. I did also write to CocoCola to try and get her name, but to no avail. C'est la vie!

A few posts ago, I mentioned I posted the Elise commercial on FB. When I see a video I post is doing well, I'll spend a few dollars to promote it. I spent $9 through FB to promote it in Mexico because that seems to be where she still has a lot of fans. In 24 hours, it's had 1,800 views. That made my day! You wouldn't get those kind of results in this forum.

Someone in Mexico just sent a message with this picture, I imagine in response to my post. It had dollar signs on the last line, so I think he wants to sell it (some).

We were just discussing in chat the unlikelihood of a new album. Shortly thereafter I came across this post on FB. The caption says "Waiting for news of Alizée's next album!".

Okay with this video, since it's doing well in Mexico, I decided to up the ante and include a few other locations such as the U.S., Germany, France, U.K. and seeing how it's a Japanese commercial......Japan!

At this point it has reached over 28,000 and had over 6,700 views.

EDIT: On second thought, I removed Japan for the time being. I thought if they have a new cover girl for Elise, then that company might complain about it, but after I see reactions in those other countries, I will add Japan out of curiosity to see how well it will do there.

I had one of Alizée's public fan pages pop up yesterday as an advertisement on my Facebook. I didn't know if you followed it already or not. They seem to post a lot of her early 2000 videos.
