Knowing the world better

I thought it would be nice if we could get to know the rest of the world better. We've had a thread where we post up pictures of each others' cities but this time, I was thinking maybe a video instead (spurred by the video to Alizée).

I've recently developed a keen interest in the different cultures, lifestyles etc of all foreign countries. We've got people from everywhere. The "Where you're from" thread will agree. And I'd love to get a short video of many people's country.

I was thinking to film anything really... Your commute to school/work, the school/workplace itself, nature, your CBD, anything. This sort of day-to-day stuff will give us more of an idea than key tourist attractions. I'm not saying to film your day-to-day life as I probably put it... No need to go into family, jobs IF one doesn't want to. Basically anything would satisfy me

- Be it a 10 second snippet to a half an hour movie.

Am I hoping for too much? Will people take part in this? I plan to start filming crap (and really, just the things I've thought about filming is really crap!) tomorrow so hopefully, I'll have some footage up in a week or so for anyone who's interested to Good 'Ole Sydney Australia

All in all, it's just a little thing that may be fun to watch

hmm sounds like an interesting idea. i was actually filming my commute to work the other day while listenin to Alizee. i dunno why, i just had my camera with me at the moment, and decided to record. i was listening to Hey! Amigo if i remember correctly, and you can hear me in the background singing along to it..lol. i'll see what i can do to take part in this.
