This pic always fascinates me.
I mean it's so, so,...........................HUH? Our sweet Lili, flipping the bird like that, with such a mean look, it just doesn't make sense to me. It's almost as if it's not her at all, but, but Alizoe Jacotée, Alizee's little known badass lookalike of something. What does it all mean

What it means ? She's fed up with paparazzis. The idiot who took that photo was most likely bothering her hours before she finally gave him what he wanted. It sure didn't make her look that cool in eyes of public but atleast she got rid off the idiot who ran straight to press to sell the photos.

The first time I saw this photo I was surprised initially. Then I immediately thought to myself, Alizée has no other public indiscretions that I know of. She has always demonstrated a high level of class and maturity. I think she has set the bar so high that we expect too much of her. After all, she’s still human, and humans will get mad or irritated from time to time. I think she’s actually shown an unbelievable amount of restraint in the past.
When I see this picture now, it just makes me smile and I feel closer to her knowing she is human, just like me. In a way, by doing what she did, she shared with us a bit of her humanity and her honest, uncensored feelings. I’m sure she was quite justified in what she did. Good for you Alizée !

Give me a window on the life of anyone...be it video, email, letters, words, forums, surfing...you name it....and let me pick what to show and what not to show and I can pretty much character assassinate ANYONE.
I don't care how "clean" you are. I don't care how "discrete" you are. If I can cherry pick whatever I want, I can destroy you in the eyes of the public at large. We also tend to build up our "idols" to a standard we create in our mind. Alizée has that "clean girl" look, but that is as much our creation as it may be reality. But I don't really care. If I had the choice of never making eye contact with Alizée or making it eye contact on the receiving end of the bird, I'll take the bird any day.
