I never celebrated Independance Day until I watched the movie but now I light a candle every year to honour those that died fighting the aliens.
I've never done anything special on Canada Day besides watch fireworks once or twice and the past two years I haven't even noticed it because I've been camping on both weekends.

Happy Birthday, USA.
I never took Independence Day seriously until now. The past year has really made me think about what it means to be an American. I really now appreciate the fact that I live in a country where you don't have to fear for your life when expressing yourself. God Bless the USA.

"Oh, no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late." - Jack Handey |
