But perhaps Yelle's and Alizee's futures are very bright for the US market. It seems to be the direction we're headed, and Yelle could change the entire view on foreign music in this country. (There could possibly be some other foreign artists that are similar and are breaking through, I just don't know about them)
^well ND is basically the same but I do tend to blast both of them while driving my car

as far as other foreign bands the only one I can think of that is main stream in the US is Rammstien

there are others who have made appearances that I know of, but I can't think of any that have had major tours with as much success as Rammstien has you can even find there albums in many stores around here which says something

Yelle on the other hand is very unheard of around here and when I asked the guy at a local Music shop (the one that would be the only one that would possibly order anything) if he could get Alizée in he checked his suppliers and none of them even sold her stuff in the US so in short I have to either order online or get it from Barnes and Noble (as they can probably get it only at an insane price)

Yeah, pretty sure you had to be there!

DAM! That was first done back when MTV actually played MUSIC ON TELEVISION! What a concept! Too bad they didn't stick with it...

I like how they split it into two parts, girls vs guys... Guess they couldn't do that with Yelle. Also like the ending where it sort of builds up with everyone singing and finish off with a guitar solo.

And yeah, I really miss the old MTV aswell. Althou I only remember it from the 90s they still were tons better and had much more 'music' in thier playlist. Now days I just watch VH1 or ZTV, MTV is just a bunch of bs...

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but it's my understanding that the song "À Cause Des Garçons" was written by Alain Chamfort and Pierre Grillet. The same Alain Chamfort that wrote "Adélaïde" which he, as you all know, performed with Alizée a while back.
