Free image for use on Wikipedia

Hmm, does wiki allow you to photograph a photograph and post that? You would have to show it was a photograph of a photograph by including a border with some background info (white paper works nice). We had to do it once when we couldn't get the rights to publish a photograph for an article, so we photographed a book that had the photograph on its cover and showed that it was a photograph of the book(the estate that now owns the rights didn't like the tone of the article so refused to give the rights to the photograph for the article, but because it was published it existed in the public domain as a book cover, and it was a way of getting the use of the photograph without breaking any laws).

all of these images fall under "fair use" .. so we dont really have anything to worry about there. but for some reason I think wikipedia does not want to fall back on fair use if it doesn't have to?

My line of thought was if she might of had some concert pics of Lili that she took with her own camera, not ones that may be of personal nature between two intimate friends.

I'm still wondering about this too.

What if you used pics similar to what Moe showed on this thread of his Alizée CD collection? It's similar to what Twitch mentioned.

thats that is the best picture ever taken in the history of photography.
