I really don't blame the french public for being iffy about her new image and music. She was a phenomenon with her seductive pop hits and dances for years and then she abruptly switches to dark and serious out of nowhere? It makes sense if you think about it from the viewpoint of those who don't closely follow and support her career like we do.
